Araucaria excelsa or Norfolk island pine

Norfolk Island Pine This plant looks like a christmas tree turned upside down, becuse it's branches covered with needles are pointing down.
Norfolk pine likes cool humid conditions, it's good to mist the plant with room-temperatured water. Don't put it under direct sunlight and in a too bright location. The medium light is the best.
Araucaria excelsa needs to be watered often enough to keep it's soil moist all the time, but make sure you don't overwater it. If underwatered or overwatered - Norfolk pine will loose it's needles in both cases and they won't grow again, leaving unattractive bare trunk.
New growing branches have different color than the old ones and look lighter and brighter. Don't worry, they will become darker when a bit older.
Pot Norfolk pine into well draining soil.
